The Ecuadorian Mycological Society is the first and only organization in Ecuador dedicated to the study of mushrooms and other fungus. We are a group of mycologists, biologists, technicians, students, foreigners and volunteers. In Ecuador one can find a great diversity of mushrooms in the country's various ecosystems including the Pacific coast and coastal forests, the Andes mountains, the Amazon rain forest and the cloud forests.
